Sharing an interest in 1960s French pop music, film soundtracks, and electronica, Allison Goldfrapp and composer Will Gregory began a collaboration known as Goldfrapp. The result was a unique sound that blended electronic beats with poppy, dreamlike vocals, creating a listening experience that defies categorization. Here, Goldfrapp performs two separate shows to sold-out crowds in London. The first concert is held at Shepard's Bush Empire in 2001, coinciding with the release of their debut album FELT MOUNTAIN. The set includes many tracks from the duo's first collaborative effort, as well as a rendition of Olivia Newton John's hit song Let's Get Physical--renamed U.K. Girls (Physical), a cover of Baccaro's disco number Yes, Sir, I Can Boogie, the never-before released Little Death, and a rare track entitled Sartorious. The latter concert is set in the beautiful outdoor setting of Somerset House, one of London's most impressive buildings. England's The Cult have combined the musical genres of hard rock and goth to become one of the most influential bands in both categories. Irish hard-rock legends Thin Lizzy were formed by charismatic frontman Phil Lynott during the late-1960s and released four albums between 1971 and 1974. But it wasn't until 1975's FIGHTING that the band progressed from Celtic-influenced folk-rock to the heavy-metal riffs that became their signature sound. Finally achieving mainstream success with the 1976 hit The Boys are Back in Town, Thin Lizzy's lineup went through several changes until their final breakup in 1983.
