These British folk-rockers were founding members of the seminal group Pentagle, with whom they emerged at the forefront of experimental folk music. Both John Renbourn and Jacqui McShee have had successful solo careers, while continuing to collaborate on innovative, unique projects. Renbourne is recognized as a superlative fingerstyle guitarist, as well as an innovator of the folk-Baroque style, melding aspects of Celtic and British folk music with jazz, rock, country, classical, and pre-Renaissance music.
