Carpenter) in spite of her upscale family`s protests. Living in relative squalor, Mary takes a job making dresses for a rich woman (Edythe Chapman) who just happens to be planning a dinner party involving a millionaire bachelor (Wallace Reid). When one of the party`s guests is unable to attend, Mary shows up in her place and begins a Cinderella-inspired journey.
