The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (DVD)
After being acquitted of murder, Sherlock Holmes' (Basil Rathbone) cunning nemesis Professor Moriarty (George Zucco) hatches a plot to steal the famous Star of Delhi from the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London. In order to distract the master sleuth from this crime of the century, Moriarty sends anonymous death threats to young socialite Ann Brandon (Ida Lupino in an early role), forcing Holmes and Dr. Watson (Nigel Bruce) to split up to protect the jewels and prevent her murder. Based on a stage play by William Gillette, this second of the 14 films starring the classic pairing of Rathbone and Bruce is arguably considered the series' finest.

Horrible Horrors Collection - Vol. 1 (DVD)
A collection of horror films from the 70s and 80s that are so bad they're good! This collection of horror films from the 70s and 80s are so bad they're good! A dorky high school student sets out to avenge himself against his tormenters by turning his lab experiment against everyone who's ever made fun of him in HORROR HIGH. SATAN'S SLAVE is an under-appreciated classic of the period with surprisingly high production values and plenty of well-executed gore and nudity; it tells of the young and beautiful Catherine, whose parents are tragically killed in a car accident while she is home visiting. She is left in the care of her cousin, who seduces her and, unbeknownst to her, plots to use her body to resurrect their witch ancestor. A hopeful musician strikes a deal with a mysterious blonde he meets on a plane in POINT OF TERROR; she promises him a record contract if he agrees to have an affair. He accepts, but just what is he signing up for? A group of demonic monks troll the New York City streets searching for sacrificial victims in PRIME EVIL, and an amoral discharged soldiers reaps revenge in FLESHBURN. Other films included are TERROR, LURKERS, and THE HEARSE.DVD Features:Region 1Keep CaseFull Frame - 1.33

Horrible Horrors Collection - Vol. 2 (DVD)
Deliciously bad horror mayhem at its finest! A crazed Vietnam vet is killing off Hollywood beauties and terrorizing radio host and psychologist Dr. Gail in DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE; two bumbling detectives try
to solve the case while the severely disturbed killer closes in on the good doctor. In the 1962 film TERRIFIED, a hooded ventriloquist maniac menaces the inhabitants of a small western town, and executes some rather unconventional murders in this creepy horror classic. BLOOD MANIA is an excuse for gratuitous nudity, and NIGHTMARE IN WAX tells of a wax museum with some exhibits that are all too real! Other titles include BLOOD OF DRACULA'S CASTLE, THE CRATER LAKE MONSTER, THE DEVIL'S HAND, and STANLEY.DVD Features:Region 1Keep CaseFull Frame - 1.33

John Carpenter - The Man and His Movies (DVD)
John Carpenter has built a formidable reputation as a director of horror/action/sci-fi movies, with an amazing ability to deftly turn his hand to huge successes and cult indie underground fare alike. Often taking on multiple roles within production (most notably as a writer and musical composer of some repute), Carpenter is a fastidiously attentive director who enjoys controlling every aspect of his movies. Having initially created some much-beloved cult films (DARK STAR, ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13) Carpenter progressed to successfully carve out a mainstream career (HALLOWEEN, THE THING, ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK) before returning to his low-budget roots (PRINCE OF DARKNESS, THEY LIVE). This documentary takes a look at his work, and speaks to a series of stars who have contributed to the Carpenter-cannon, including Kurt Russell, Jamie Lee Curtis, Peter Fonda, Alice Cooper, and more.DVD Features:Region 1Keep CaseFull Frame - 1.33
