Lance Bishop (Adam Baldwin, not from the Baldwin clan) is your run-of -the-mill insurance salesman whose life is happy and relatively unremarkable until one fateful day which leads him to question his sanity. First a strange degenerate inexplicably attacks him in the street. Then he hears voices in his head. Voices that tell him that it might be a good idea to murder his beloved wife (Elizabeth Berkley, SHOWGIRLS). Turns out, the voices are part of a top-secret government plot to control the minds of its citizens and achieve world domination. Fortunately, Bishop discovers other, somewhat off-kilter folks, who suspect their minds have been tampered with. This moody, paranoid picture follows in the tradition of alien-abduction movies such as THE X-FILES and TAKEN. The only difference is that here, the sinister characters representing the government bear an uncanny resemblance to aliens.DVD Features:Region 1Snap CaseAnamorphic Widescreen - 1.78Audio: Dolby Digital 5.1 - English Dolby Digital 5.1 - Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 - French

Clive Barker Presents Saint Sinner (DVD)
It is 1815. Brothers Tomas (Greg Sarano) and Gregory (Antonio Cupo) have lived a rather peaceful life as monks in a California Mission. This particular hermitage is the repository for many artifacts that the Church deemed to be cursed, and are therefore ordered by the Pope to be hidden away from human eyes. A beautiful carving of two women arrives at the monastery via the hands of emissary Father Michael (William B. Davis, the chain smoking agent from the X-FILES) He warns that even touching the statue may unleash the most foul and horrible demons known to man. Curiosity gets the better of the brothers and they break into a vault where these cursed artifacts are stored. Seduced by the images, Tomas unwittingly releases Munkar (Mary Mara) and Nakir (Rebecca Harrell), two female demons who look like vampires in serious need of a makeover. Through a time machine that has also been stored in the vault, they travel to 21st-century Seattle. Adopting the guise of prostitutes, they kill and wreak havoc on modern society. Tomas, guilt ridden by his actions, follows close behind and is discovered by street smart detective Rachel Dressler (Gina Ravera), who considers him the prime suspect in a series of some unexplained murders. In the spirit of BUFFY, with a bit of X-FILES thrown in for good measure, this flick has everything that is so compelling about time travel stories. Merging sacred and ancient traditions with an edgy, modern slickness, SAINT SINNER is a fun ride.DVD Features:Region 1Snap CaseAnamorphic Widescreen - 1.78Audio: Dolby Digital 5.1 - English Dolby Digital 2.0 - Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 - FrenchAdditional Release Material: Audio Commentary - 1. Riverworld (DVD)
Based on sci-fi novels and stories by Philip Jose Farmer, RIVERWORLD suggests a rather bleak portrait of the afterlife. Astronaut Jeff Hale (Brad Johnson) has suffered injuries as a result of a meteor shower that destroys Earth. He awakes in a multidimensional bubble under the surface of water being pierced by what looks like a large needle. When he finds himself washed up on shore, he realizes he is not alone. There are others who once lived in different places and times, and yet they all somehow know how to speak the same language. The group quickly deduces that they have all died and been re-born in this strange, watery place that has a forbidding landscape and an incredible, star-filled sky. Canisters of clothing are conveniently planted on the beach for this oddly matched set of newcomers, who include a riverboat captain, an African priestess, an alien, and a concentration camp victim. They soon are approached by a powerful man on horseback that informs them their destiny is to live as soldiers, workers, or slaves. It's a bit like PLANET OF THE APES for these unlucky souls, who find themselves at the mercy of this strange new existence. The reincarnated group learns to combine wits in the fight for freedom. Much action, conflict, and civil unrest ensue in this fascinating tale of survival in an otherworldly dimension.DVD Features:Region (unknown)Snap CaseAnamorphic Widescreen - 1.78Audio: Dolby Digital 2.0 - EnglishAdditional Release Material: Audio Commentary

Lawrence of Arabia (DVD)
David Lean's masterpiece, perhaps the greatest of screen epics, stars Peter O'Toole in one of the most electrifying debuts in film history. The film is less an ordinary adventure than an experience that leaves an overwhelming sense memory of the struggle between two powerful forces: the Arabian deserts, immense, intractable, ever-shifting, punishing; and T.E. Lawrence, humble as a monk, flamboyant as a rock star, protean, polymathic, heroic, enigmatic, mad. While working on the staff of British Intelligence in Cairo in 1916, Lawrence's fluency in Arabic earns him a post on a mission sent to establish contact with Prince Feisal (Alec Guinness), leader of the Arab revolt and ally of the British against the German-sponsored Turks in WWI. Impressed by Lawrence's knowledge of their culture, the prince allows the young officer to join his staff, and Lawrence quickly earns the Arabs' respect after he executes acts of extraordinary heroism. As the Englishman's genius for guerrilla warfare becomes evident, he assumes the role of de facto leader of the Arab revolt, uniting the heretofore warring tribes into a devastatingly effective weapon. But the chaos of war also unleashes the repressed officer's powerful need for self-abasement and mortification of the flesh. A visionary work that unfolds one indelible image after another, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA fuses the conflict of man against man, man against nature, and man against himself into a sublime poem of force. The film features a literate script by Robert Bolt and an outstanding cast, which also includes Claude Rains, Jack Hawkins, Arthur Kennedy, Anthony Quinn, Jose Ferrer, and Omar Sharif in his unforgettable desert-crossing debut.Additional Release Material:Trailer - 1. Director Steven Spielberg brings J.M. Barrie's PETER PAN to the screen with a delightfully modernized twist. Forty-year-old Peter (Robin Williams) has grown up to be a workaholic lawyer with more affection for his cell phone than his wife and two children. When the family travels to England to visit Granny Wendy (Maggie Smith), Peter's son and daughter are kidnapped by the villainous Captain Hook (Dustin Hoffman). Peter's faithful pal, Tinkerbell (Julia Roberts), helps him return to Neverland--Second star to the right and straight on'til morning--to the world Peter has forgotten. There the Lost Boys welcome Peter back and try to get him in shape for his fight with Captain Hook. Peter must somehow remember his long-forgotten boyhood in Neverland and learn how to fly again before he can rescue his children away from the evil clutches of Captain Hook. Bob Hoskins costars as Hook's right-hand man, Smee, and Gwyneth Paltrow, in her first film role, plays the young Wendy. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Song for John Williams's When You're Alone.Includes bell ornament.

Men in Black (DVD)
In the 1950s a super-secret government agency was formed to monitor and police the activities of extraterrestrial aliens on the planet Earth. Some 40 years later a founding father of the agency, Agent Kay (Tommy Lee Jones), finds himself with a new smart-mouthed partner fresh from the NYPD who is soon dubbed Agent Jay (Will Smith). Their first mission is to save the Earth from destruction by a giant insectlike alien (Vincent D'Onfrio) that, incidentally, drives an exterminator's truck. Armed with their matching Ray-Bans, skinny ties, and space-age weapons that Jay barely understands--he calls the Neuralyzer the flashy thing--the new duo begin another average day of fighting intergalactic terrorists. An amazingly hip and terribly clever movie that riffs on everything from E.T.--THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL to CASABLANCA, this Barry Sonnenfeld film is based on the equally savvy comic book by Lowell Cunningham.DVD Features:Region 1 EncodingJewel Case
