Korean director Han-chun Park serves up a frothy confection of Asian pop cinema with the teenage romantic comedy disguised as international espionage caper, SPY GIRL. Jeong-hwa Kim stars as beautiful North Korean spy Hyo-jin Park, who has been sent to South Korea to track down a secret agent accused of absconding with embezzled funds. Hyo-jin plans to keep tabs on her target by posing as a waitress at a local fast food restaurant, but her low profile is soon threatened by the unwanted attentions of a throng of teenaged schoolboys from the prep school next door.
