Don`t be fooled by the title, because this is a British show, where football actually means soccer--although the action in this amusing drama mostly takes place off the pitch. Highly popular in its native country and on BBC America, FOOTBALLERS WIVES follows the players of a fictional team as they become embroiled in sex scandals and murder mysteries. To its credit, the show doesn`t take itself too seriously, and is all the more enjoyable as a result. The entire second season is included here.
