Young Joey dreams of being a part of the Wilderness Club. After several failed attempts he is persuaded by his best friend Timmy to quit. When Joey gets home he surprised by the expensive camping equipment that his mother has bought him in anticipation of his club membership. Too embarrassed to tell her the truth, he secretly joins the group anyway and follows them on the adventure in the woods.
