A blind Asian-American woman named Mrs. Hong (Lisa Lu) lives with her doctor son Daniel (Han Chin) and his wife Natalie (Vivian Wu) in a state of barely suppressed familial tension. Into this already hostile environment enters armed intruder Patrick (Joe Lando), an old family friend sent to prison for murdering his own father.
